How to Price your Made to Measure Sash Windows

Example: If you window is 1250mm wide use 1300 mm price. If your window is 1829 mm high use 1900 mm price.

a) Select the price for the above grid
b) Add the sash window accessories that suit your finished project (priced each
or per m²)
c) Pilkington K Glass must be selected to comply with Document L for all installations, new build or replacement
d) Trickle Vents are compulsory on new build or extensions unless you use another method such as air/vent bricks
e) Toughened Safety Glass must be used for windows that are less than 800mm from internal floor or windows that are situated within 300mm off a door

The above information is a rough guide only, and you should check your project out with the building control department of your local council


Discounts

a) You will now have the list price of your windows,
all orders are subject to an internet discount of 50% list price less 50% =
discounted price

b) Now add VAT. For a limited period, we pay the VAT.

Legally we must charge vat, therefore we are offering an additional discount to cover the vat element.

That is to say if your sliding sash window normally costs £4000.00 plus £700.00 vat, total £4700.00 we will give you a £700.00 discount.

Therefore you will pay £4000.00 and your invoice will read as follows £3404.26 plus vat £595.74 total £4000.00.

If you are a self builder or registered for vat you can claim the £595.74 vat content on your next vat return.

As a rough guide to our supply and fix prices (local) to our premises in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham only take the list price with no deductions.

For slightly further a field (North East only) take the list price and add 25%.

We do not offer an installation service outside of the North East of England.
